Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) – At the end of this course the learner would be able to prepare, conduct and explain the specified requirements needed to conduct a base-line risk assessment. As well as initiate remedial action for hazards identified and risks assessed.
You will have 7 days to complete this course from date of registration.
After 7 calendar days your course will be cancelled
All exams need to be completed within the time frame given
You are entitled to 3 attempts to re-write your Summative Assessment (Exam) if found Not Competent
IF YOU ARE FOUND SKIPPING THE COURSE BY CLICKING THE COMPLETE BUTTON YOU WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED.
After completing the Summative Assessment (Exam) will be evaluated by an assessor.
You will then be Redirected to the course where you will be able to download your certificate.
If you are declared Not Yet Competent and have exceed the time frame given OR the course has expired you will have to re-register and pay.

PURPOSE OF THE COURSE
The purpose of the Hazard Identification, Risk assessment and Risk Control (HIRA & RC) course is to ensure that, on completion of this course, the participants will be able to conduct a HIRA and, based on the outcomes of the risk assessment, assist the management of the relevant area, plant or site with the identification of effective risk control measures, including implementation monitoring and review.
This course applies to all employees, regardless of their job levels or designations, who are required to conduct health, safety, and environmental risk assessments.
